Looking over the photos on the Hillhaven website enabled me to decide on Apartment 25. It is reasonably high up, renovated to a high standard and has a bath. We go to Hillhaven at least twice a year from Brisbane. We'd go more too if we could! Don't know if I want to spread the word too far, but no where on the coast would you get this close to the sea and beautiful Burleigh Headland.
The units are excellent. Love the front bedroom. Back bedrooms are sometimes a lilttle dark and small, but I always get the front bedroom so not complaining too much.
Sabrina and Keith are very helpful and welcoming.
We would never go anywhere else on the Coast

We stayed 6 days in apartment no 10 together with our 20 years old daughter and her two friends. Even though the second bedroom was a little too small for and extra bed (we put this in the living room during the night), we all enjoyed this modern newly renovated apartment, and especially the large balcony. The view was brilliant and we loved to stay at the balcony just looking at all the surfers and the people walking and having barbeque along the seaside. We had our breakfast and dinner outside at the balcony nearly every day. You can have a lovely walk in the national park just outside the door, or you can have a bath at the patrolled beach 5 minutes walk from the apartment. We will very much recommend a stay at Hillhaven, especially in apartment no 10

 During our six week meandering drive along the coastal areas from Port Douglas to Sydney we happened to end up near Burleigh Heads one night and found Hillhaven Holiday Apartments in the Lonely Planet. What a pleasant surprise!

Originally we planned to stay for one night as we still had a lot of traveling to do. However after seeing the rooms we immediately decided to stay three nights which we later extended to five nights. This probably says it all: we loved the place.

We stayed in apartment 33 on the top floor on the south-east corner of the main building. This room is quite exceptional: superb interior design, decorating, furniture and well chosen design accents, as well as the highest quality appliances in the kitchen and laundry room. The overall style is classy modern, sleek minimalist design with clean lines and flat surfaces without unnnecessary clutter or distractions. During our stay we played golf at some of the area golf courses and booked a tour to Brisbane, but one day we just stayed "home" in our apartment to spend some quality time in this high quality environment!
The views from the balcony were magnificent: ocean, beach, surfers,joggers,walkers, runners, hikers, etc. with the skylines of Southport and Surfer's Paradise in the distance.

Although we stayed at some fancy hotels during our trip, Hillhaven Holiday Apartments definitely rates amongst the very best. Our stay at Hillhaven was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Service was very friendly, helpful, responsive and efficient in providing information and booking our tour. Internet was relatively cheap at least for Australia (although it is for Canadian visitors who are used to free internet in North American hotels unnecessarily expensive)

There are a range of apartments to choose from and we found more satisfaction with the modern and newly renovated units containing moderns appliances and fixtures (I like to cook (yes even on holidays) and i'm a bit of a snob so i am easily captured with a flat screen TV and a bit of ceaser stone in the kitchen). The Hillhaven is wonderfully located at Burleigh Heads so you miss out on all the foolishness of surfers paradise if you want to, and you can live a relaxed life. Supurb coastal and rainforest walking tracks are right at the doorstep, lots of kids parks, clean and well maintained bbq spots in addition to a great little barista serving superb double shot lattes a mere 50 metres away. Restaurants and the surf club are within an easy stroll. Get yourself up to Hillhaven!"
